Snapshots of 2013

2013 has been an interesting year for me! I've made so many wonderful friends this year, began and finished my position in the sorority, partnered with so many amazing companies, moved into the sorority house, started my senior year of college, and took a trip to Charleston with one of my best friends! Here's a recap:

In January, I enjoyed several nights out with friends (since I was newly 21) and added a new pretty to my stack.

In February, I enjoyed the King Cake (my favorite) that my parents sent me, enjoyed nights out on the town, and took several walks along the river.

In March, I went home for break and enjoyed food from the best Mexican restaurant ever, while also indulging in my favorite Girl Scout cookies. I also went to Carolina Cup!

In April, I planned a major event for the sorority (and enjoyed the leftover flowers in my apartment) and saw Chris Young in concert.

In May, I went home for the summer, celebrated Cinco de Mayo, and began my first big-girl internship.

In June and July, I soaked up the sun at the pool, read several "poolside" reads, and enjoyed the new car my parents bought me!

In August, I headed back to school for recruitment, enjoyed nights out with friends, and began my first last day of school!

This fall has been kind of a blur, but I began an internship at school, went on a weekend trip to Charleston, enjoyed football season, and went to the Carolina-Clemson game (which we won, of course).

December was a huge month for me--I turned 22, received several amazing gifts from friends and family, finished my first semester of senior year, and went home for a wonderful Christmas.

New Year's Eve Outfit

I'm still trying to decide what I'm wearing for NYE, but who doesn't love a little sparkle when ringing in the New Year? Sequins, gold, and glamour are a girl's best friends on NYE!

What will you be wearing tomorrow night? Have a fabulous day!

New Year, New Calendar

I've posted about it before, but I'm a fan of multiple calendars. I really like having a few different calendars to look at, and since my Lilly wall calendar from Lifeguard Press ends this month, I've been shopping for a new 2014 wall/desk calendar. Since I'll be graduating in May, I'm thinking I should go for something more grown-up, but I'm not sure what yet. Here are some of my top picks:

Milo Paper--I love that this one is dry erase!

What kind of wall calendar do you use? Have a great day!

Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree

One of my favorite parts of Christmas is putting up my family's Christmas tree and seeing Christmas trees at my friends' homes. Every family has such a different style to their tree. First, there's the fake v. real debate, but then some families go with a theme, others are very professional-looking, and some have colored trees (pink, white, etc.). My family has an eclectic tree--it has ornaments my brother and I made as kids, but it also has Hallmark ornaments, Starbucks ornaments, and ornaments we've collected over the years. One of my best friend's family only decorates their tree with Old World ornaments, and it always looks gorgeous! I'm still not sure which route I'll go when I get older, but I'm thinking I might have a professional-looking tree and a family decorated one! Which of these trees do you have?

Free Christmas Printable

I'm sure y'all remember Veronica Foley Designs, the stationery shop I paired up with during my week of giveaways! Veronica has been so generous, and has designed a free printable for my readers. When printed, it looks like this:

So cute, right? I love the way it looks framed! I'm thinking it would be a cute decoration at a Christmas Eve party or an open house. To download it in the best resolution, click here and download.

Thanks again, Veronica!
