Selling: Judith March Dress

I reviewed a gorgeous Judith March dress a couple of months ago, and as soon as my best friend saw it, she had to have one, too! However, hers doesn't fit her as well, so she asked if I would help her sell it. I thought I'd put it on the blog first, before trying eBay. It's a medium, new with tags! Here's a picture:
It retails for $78, but she's selling it for $50 or the best offer, shipped. If you're interested, email me at misssouthernprep [@] gmail dot com. PayPal only!
Have a great Sunday!

No more ugly chargers for me!

I've been seeing cute iPhone and Mac charger decals all over Pinterest for a few months, but I had never come across one that I had to have. Then, I stumbled across MonogramXoXo, and the owner, Maude, was sweet enough to design iPad and iPhone charger decals for me! I chose Lilly's Chin Chin print with a monogram, of course. Here's a close-up before I put them on my chargers:

And the final product:

How cute are these?! If you're looking for some cute charger decals, contact Maude at MonogramXoXo, and she'll work with you to design your own! They're very affordable, too!
I'm so excited to put my cute new chargers to use! Happy Friday!

New Car Smell

If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen a surprise I got over the weekend! Right now, I'm enjoying a new car smell, thanks to my parents! They surprised me with a new Hyundai Elantra:

I love all of the new features my car has, like the iPod plug-in, the heated seats, and the awesome gas mileage! It's SO nice compared to my last car. Now I can't wait to add a USC sticker and letters to the back!

So excited! Happy Wednesday!

Organized: College Dorm Room Edition

This year, I'll be living in the sorority house, which will definitely be a far departure from my apartment living. I never, and I mean never, cooked in my apartment, so it won't be too different in that aspect. The only difference will be sharing a room again. My room will be very, very tiny, so storage will be SO important. Here are some storage pieces I swear by and plan to use in my new room:
Organized: Dorm Room
-Shoes: I use a shoe hanger in my closet, because it doesn't take up too much room, and it allows me to see all of my shoes easily.
-Beauty: An organizer on top of my dresser helps keep all of my hairbrushes, leave-in conditioner, contact solution, lotion, etc. organized.
-Under the Bed: Long tubs are perfect for extra blankets, sheets, and other items, like sweatshirts and jackets.
-Jewelry: I use a jewelry organizer and keep it in a dresser drawer, but a lot of my friends use the jewelry hangers and love them! It's easy to see all of your pieces.
-Clothes: These plastic drawers on rollers are short enough to fit under a lifted bed or in the closet. They're perfect for underwear, bras, tanks, or tshirts.
-Closet/Shelves: I love cute tubs, like the Lilly one above; I use mine on my closet shelf for cardigans, one under my desk for extra papers, and another one for all my snacks. They're really perfect for anything! I particularly like the Lilly and Scout ones, because they're plastic and wipe clean easily.
What other storage devices do you love? Have a wonderful Monday!

Review: Miss Priss Speaks

One of my new favorite Etsy shops is Miss Priss Speaks. Monogram goodies, glitter koozies, and monogram decals are just a few items offered by Miss Priss Speaks. I am convinced that the owner, Natalie Marie, and I would be such good friends if we met! Here are my goodies:

Wrinkle-free for me!

About two months ago, I went to a makeup consultation, and the makeup artist told me that I should really start using wrinkle cream around my eyes. Of course, I started freaking out, because I thought that was at least a few years away, since I have no wrinkles around my eyes yet. I guess better safe than sorry, right? Anyway, I need to take the plunge and actually get some now! I've been keeping notes on ones that I've heard are good, so here are some I've been looking at:
Wrinkle-free for me!

My skin is oily, and I want to keep the price $50 or less. Do y'all have any suggestions? What do you use? Have a great day!

I've been wanting one for a couple of years, and I think I'm finally going to order one next week! And add a monogram...can't wait!

I stopped watching this show a few seasons ago, but have been catching up on Netflix. I love it!

This red is perfect for summer!

I can't wait to see her in a few weeks! I'm hoping she'll love all of the crafts I'm working on for her!
Drinking: Venti Mocha Frappuccino Light
This frozen treat has been getting me through the HOT, humid days. Especially the two days we were without power last week.
What are you currently doing? Have a fabulous day!

Getting Healthy

One of my New Year's Resolutions was to eat healthier, workout more often, and lose weight. I haven't stuck to my resolution as well as I had hoped, but with 8 weeks left before recruitment, I am feeling the crunch! I do have a certain amount of weight I'd like to lose, but I'm focusing more on toning and feeling more comfortable in the dresses I'll be wearing during that week. Here are some of my "get healthy" essentials:

Healthy by misssouthernprep
[Baseball cap for outside workouts, sports bra from Target, Tervis Tumbler water bottle, headphones, New Balance Tennis Shoes, Raspberry Lemonade Crystal Light (my favorite), sunscreen for outside workouts, and a healthy snack]
I've been working out 6-7 days a week, sometimes going for a run around a lake near my house:

I've also been using the Lose It! app on my phone, and it's perfect! Throughout the day, I log in all of my meals, snacks, my workout, and the glasses of water I've had for the day. I've been trying to eat cleaner and take advantage of all the fresh summer veggies.

I thought I'd share, so I could make myself more accountable for my goals! I'll share my progress with y'all before I head back to school in early August. But I'd love to hear any tips you have! What are your healthy essentials? Have a wonderful Wednesday!

All About "Me"

Last week, I took a day off of work, school, and any obligations I had. I was hoping for a day on a tropical island, but settled for a day at the country club instead. I brought along a book I was reading, headphones, and nothing else. As soon as I got there around 10:30, I ordered a huge diet coke and settled into a spot under an umbrella. I stayed there until 5:30 that day, and it was glorious. I put my phone on silent and did nothing but relax and read. I felt like I was on that tropical island, without a care in the world.
The view from my chair!
Lately, I've felt like I have no "me" time between my internship, the summer classes I'm taking, homework, and my other obligations. Sometimes, even dinner plans with friends turn into somewhat of an obligation. They seem like something I "have" to do, instead of something I "want" to do. This day off reminded me of how important it is to reboot every so often. Just that one day of shutting everything off was amazing, and I realized I need to do it more often.
What do y'all do to for "me" time? Happy Monday!

Summer TV

Y'all know I have a reality TV obsession, so it should come as no surprise that my DVR is full right now from all of the summer shows I've been watching! These are the ones I'm loving this summer:
Million Dollar Listing New York
I love looking at all of the luxury apartments and townhouses each week!
Don't Be Tardy
Kim kills me--she's so funny!
Real Housewives of New Jersey
Last season was way too intense for me, but I'm hoping this season will be more carefree and light, like it was Season 1.
Real Housewives of Orange County
Love me some Heather Dubrow. I'm over the fighting between Vicki and Tamra, though. I hope they officially reconcile soon.
Keeping Up With the Kardashians
Did y'all tune in on Sunday? I feel like there's something weird with Kim and Kanye...he seems like he's not that into her. Is it just me feeling that way?

What are y'all loving this summer? Have a wonderful Tuesday!
