Catching-up!

I feel like I haven't actually blogged for days because of all the giveaways, so I thought I'd share what's been going on in my world lately!

Obsessed with this show. I've been watching it while doing my homework for almost 2 weeks straight! Yes, I've repeated the whole season twice. I have a Bethenny addiction.

Reading this for an English paper!

Our beautiful Christmas tree in my apartment!

Going home for Thanksgiving!

Wine night with the bestie at home.

Watching one of my all-time favorites at home with my momma.

DYING over these Nico and Lala salt and pepper shakers. They WILL be in my future home one day.

My lovely bloggy friend, Cotton, from Cotton's Pickins awarded me the Versatile Blogger award the other week, but I had the giveaways going, so I couldn't do it! Thanks so much, Cotton!

Here are her questions for me:
  1. If you had to live in another state, which would you chose? South Carolina, probably! I go to school here, but it's not my home state. I could definitely live in Charleston!
  2. What was your dream job as a child? A 4th grade teacher
  3. Name a guilty pleasure! 50 Shades of Grey; I'm kind of obsessed with the trilogy, but am so embarrassed to admit it!
  4. What is the best book you've read recently? I haven't really read since the summer, but I loved Bethenny Frankel's Skinnydipping, which is one of the last books I read before school started.
  5. Most embarrassing date story? I don't really think I have any, but seriously, creepers come up to me everywhere and say the WORST pickup lines. And it's never anyone cute/attractive, just weird old men or sketchy young ones. If y'all ever want to hear some stories, I have tons.
  6. How did you get into your field of work/study? I thought I wanted to major in business, but I had the most amazing professor at my old school, and she would always tell me that I'd be great in the Communications field, so I changed my major freshman year!
  7. You just birthed a child! What would you name him/her? I don't tell anyone my kids' names, not even my best friends, but I really like last names as first names!
  8. Favorite pair of shoes you own? Probably my black patent Tory Burch Revas
  9. A trend you wish would die? Girls at my school wear Chacos all of the time. I don't know if y'all have seen them, but I think they are SO ugly. I hear they're comfortable, but that does not make up for their hideous appearance.
  10. People would be surprised which song is in your iTunes library? Probably some Guster! That's not me at all haha.
  11. Favorite exercise? Elliptical
  12. Morning Bird or Night Owl? Night Owl!
  13. Name something that you don't like that people do at weddings? The groom seeing the bride before the ceremony, smashing cake in each other's faces, cash bar, the list goes on....
  14. Favorite [healthy] snack food? Goldfish!
I love Cotton's questions, so I'm going to keep them and I'm tagging anyone who wants to participate! If you do, leave me a comment, so I can read your answers!

What have y'all been up to? Have an amazing day!

  2. I'm OBSESSED with everything Bethenny, I'm pretty sure my skinny girl purchases may single handedly keep her in business. I'm dying to read skinny dipping, but am forcing myself to finish my current book first. Love all these question, was looking for a topic for a post tomorrow so I may steal them!
