Right now, I'm loving plaid! It reminds me of chilly winter weather (and Christmas), so of course, anytime I see it, it puts me in a good mood! Here are some plaid pieces I'd love to add to my wardrobe:
"Shoulder pads may come and go but a BFF is forever. Because even when you’re not sure where you’re headed, it helps to know that you’re not going there alone. No one has all the answers, and sometimes, the best we can do is just apologize and let the past be the past. Other times, we need to look to the future, and know the even when we think we’ve seen it all, life can still surprise us, and we can still surprise ourselves." --Gossip Girl
This weekend, my beloved ID case finally broke. This case has been the best ID case that I've ever had, by far. It's been through so much--several nights of laying out in the rain after I lost it one Thursday night, my first year and a half of college, countless late-night trips to Target, summer vacation, and numerous trips shopping expeditions. It's sure to say that my beloved Baekgaard case will be missed.
RIP, my beloved friend
Anyway, I'm having the hardest time finding an ID case that will be as amazing as my Baekgaard one. I mainly need it to hold my credit card and school ID card during the day. It is definitely more convenient if it's able to be put on a key ring, but it's not necessarily a requirement. I've been looking everywhere for a replacement, but can't seem to find a sufficient one. However, I've found two little beauties that I love--tell me what you think:
LOVE the Kate Spade Little Gia Pouch. I could definitely slide my cell phone, room key, and school ID into this pouch and just tote it around. It wouldn't be the most convenient thing in the world, though.
Right now I'm in the process of applying for an internship for next semester, so of course I've been heavily browsing J. Crew, Saks, and Nordstrom for some lovely work clothes. I love the jackets, the fitted trousers, and powerhouse suits, but something I just can't get enough of are pencil skirts! They are so classic and polished, I'm obsessed! Here are some that I can't stop obsessing over:
I confess, I have a bit of an obsession with Gossip Girl. Don't even get me started on my love for Chuck or my obsession with anything Blair Waldorf. So as I'm sure you can assume, I was so excited to hear that Romeo and Juliet Couture was producing a GG-inspired clothing line! I wasn't expecting anything too amazing, but I did have some hope that at least some of the line would be Upper East Side-worthy. However, the line definitely did not impress. Here are some looks from the line:
I think the line looks cheap, and although some of the pieces look like something Serena would wear in Season 3, I don't think Blair would be caught dead in any of these pieces.
Have you seen the Gossip Girl Line? What did you think about it? Have a wonderful day!
During the fall, I love nothing more than a nice pair of riding boots. I am seriously addicted to riding boots. I think they're so classic, and look fabulous with almost anything! I have a pair of Frye riding boots, but I still can't help but lust over a few fabulous pairs:
Hey, y'all! As I'm sure you can tell, I took a (very long) break from blogging, but I'm back! I've missed it so much! I should be back to regular posting tomorrow! I can't wait to catch-up on all of your blogs! Have a fabulous day!
